Chrissy Teigen Live Tweets Her Travel Nightmare: ‘Spent 8 Hours on a Flight to Nowhere’

Chrissy Teigen had terrible travel luck on Tuesday, and her ordeal seemed to go on well into the night.

The model, TV host and pregnant wife to John Legend first shared her experiences at around 5:30 p.m. PT when the All Nippon Airways flight she and Legend taking to Tokyo went nowhere from eight hours and 20 minutes.

“A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn’t supposed to be on this plane,” Teigen wrote. “Why…why do we all gotta go back, I do not know.”

A fellow passenger shared the highly unusual flight path from LAX … back to LAX.

While another passenger was delighted to be sat near Teigen and Legend, even though none of them were getting anywhere closer to Tokyo.

“Still on the plane. Starting to get a little…as james franco in spring breakers would say… spicious,” Teigen later wrote.

She went on to chronicle the investigation once the mystery passenger had been removed from the plane, saying: “Police were interviewing all the people seated around the mystery person once we got off the plane. Why would they do this! I MUST KNOW MORE.”

Once they had all de-boarded back in Los Angeles, the “Lip Sync Battle” co-host still didn’t know what was going on, even though she told her followers she wished “I could be your snowden.”

The famous couple was later moved to a private waiting room where they were tortured by being made to watch Bravo.

While she still didn’t have any solid information on the flight drama, Teigen did shoot a video with the update: “Lisa Rinna has just arrived in Las Vegas,” in case you were concerned about the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” plot line.

Her ordeal even caught the attention of Rinna herself.
