‘Scandal': Olivia Pope Delivers the Slap Heard ‘Round the World

Friday, April 7, 2017

(Spoiler alert: Please do not read on if  you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode of “Scandal”)

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) did not come to play today… just ask Abby Whelan’s (Darby Stanchfield) face.

Tonight’s episode of “Scandal” was dedicated to finding Huck (Guillermo Diaz), because if you recall from last week’s episode, he was shot a couple times by his girlfriend Meg and left for dead. Also, Abby had a lot to do with his disappearance.

So while everyone and their mama was out trying to find Huck and see if he’s alive, Olivia found out that Abby was somehow involved — and that was it. She lost it.

As soon as Olivia set her eyes on Abby, she asked her if she remembered what she told her a while ago. Do not mess with her. Then she slapped her. Not once. No, not twice. But three whole times. Olivia Pope delivered three powerful slaps to Abby’s face.

Of course, she didn’t know the whole story behind Abby’s involvement with the Shadowy Organization and all their blackmail and shenanigans, but then again she didn’t really care to hear her excuses or explanations. All Olivia was worried about was finding Huck and if Abby was able to help — which she wasn’t.

“You messed with the wrong gladiator,” she said to Abby. Chills just ran down our spine.
